Exploring the geological and geophysical knowledge to make the right decision on our exploration activities. Various tools were used in determining the hydrocarbon trap underground.

Helium Survey is a new age geochemical tool to map significant anomalies of helium, which interprets as increased fracturing and gas saturation of probable hydrocarbon presence. This new data set helps the exploration team to model the reservoir distribution and setup prospective drilling targets.

Recently, PETRONAS applies the Helium Survey to map the area Tinggi and Tasbih, across the Terengganu coast.
