With the theme “Growing Together”, the third annual gathering, PETRONAS Gala Dinner for Gas Customers 2019 was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 1 November 2019 to celebrate our partnership and friendship that we’ve built over the years.

 

Among our key customers from Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore who attended the event were Kapar Energy Venture Sdn Bhd, Keppel Gas Pte Ltd, YTL Power Generation Sdn Bhd, Venator Asia Sdn Bhd, Borneo Edible Oils Sdn Bhd and Sembcorp Utilities Pte Ltd., to name a few.

 

 

The Diamond Ballroom was transformed into a beautiful enchanted garden with decorated trees and greeneries to reflect the theme of the event. All guests were greeted with welcoming cocktails and light snacks at the foyer, where they had the opportunity to catch up and mingle.

 

Encik Adnan Zainal Abidin, EVP & CEO of Gas & New Energy (GNE) delivered his heart warming welcoming speech to the audience of key industry leaders, customers, and partners from the gas business. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation towards the strong and lasting partnership forged between PETRONAS and our clients in the gas business.

 

 

Encik Adnan was also proud to share our innovative offerings with our clients where he quoted -”With our commitment to be your partner of choice, we are pleased to highlight new and improved products and services from across the entire gas value chain. Innovative offerings such as the virtual pipeline system, LNG bunkering, and LNG break-bulking demonstrate our ability in providing tailored solutions to deliver the best possible customer service and experience.”

The guests were also presented with the specially produced video montage, which encapsulated PETRONAS’ role in ensuring a reliable and commercially sustainable supply of gas to the market, through our commitment in understanding customers’ needs and requirement in enabling them to grow their business.

 

 

Throughout the night, guests were treated to special live performance by the magical voice of Elvira, to keep them entertained all night long.

 

The Gala Dinner provided a fruitful avenue to strengthen our bonds with our customers and to nurture our growing relationships for many more years to come.
