- PETRONAS invites companies to bid for 5 Explorations Blocks on offer in Malaysia Bid Round 2024 (MBR 2024).
BID GUIDELINE
- Companies are required to refer to the Malaysia Bid Round 2024 Guideline, which provide guidance on how to complete and submit bid(s) for the Exploration Blocks on offer.
PETRONAS MYPRODATA
- PETRONAS myPROdata (www.petronas.com/myprodata) is a web-based platform that provides access to Malaysia’s Exploration & Production (“E&P”) data not only accessible to Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (“PAC”) and Oil and Gas (“O&G”) companies but also to solution partners, researchers, and academia.
- PETRONAS myPROdata subscription is a prerequisite for MBR 2024. Access to PETRONAS myPROdata for all Exploration Opportunities including Invitation to Bid (“ITB”) Documents are available with valid subscription. For MBR 2024, the data review period starts from 23 January until 1 August 2024.
- Companies to enter into EUA which provides the terms and conditions for subscription of PETRONAS myPROdata prior to accessing it for the data review, evaluation or download.
- Access to the PETRONAS myPROdata platform is available through subscription via PETRONAS myPROdata.
COMPANY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
- Company is required to register a focal person as company sole representative on matters related to the Company Qualification Process at MBR Online Portal. Only companies subscribed to PETRONAS myPROdata will be granted access to submit their company qualifications and manage their participation in the bid round.
- Company representatives are required to complete the Company Qualification exercise to assess the company’s capability to become a Petroleum Arrangement Contractor (PAC) in Malaysia. COMPANY QUALIFICATION DEADLINE
- The deadline for submission of the required questionnaires to PETRONAS is no later than 5:00 pm Malaysia time, on 31 May 2024 (Friday).
