KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2025 – PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) is committed towards ensuring access to continuous and reliable gas supply with resumption of operations at the Puchong City Gate. This development will enable the shipper to provide gas supply to the isolated zone.
Recognising its critical role as the gas transporter, PGB remains steadfast in advancing restoration work at the incident site. Concurrently, PGB is exploring ways to enhance supply capacity while maintaining the integrity of the pipeline system.
The safety of the public and its operations remain as a priority, and PGB will cooperate with relevant authorities in the incident investigation as well as to support the government's initiatives to rebuild the affected communities.
With the support and understanding of its stakeholders, PGB will continue in its efforts to progressively restore access to gas supply.
