Green Port Awards

GPAS program is a green evaluation system for ports in the APEC region developed by APSN. It represents an integral part of APSN’s ongoing efforts to promote the green growth of the APEC port industry. GPAS expectation is to improve and lift the APEC ports profile and induce the impacts to society.

On 24th October 2023,Kertih Port has been recognized as Green Port by APSN (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Port Services Network. It is a testament of hardwork and full commitment from Kertih Port team towards SUSTAINABILITY. Kertih Port sustainability efforts journey includes energy efficiency analysis, ecology protection, circular economy, reaching out and give back to the community and society, and etc.

APSN forum and GPAS Award 2023 attended by all APSN Senior Council members including Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Peru, Philipine, China, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. Director General of Marine Department (MARDEP), Captain Hj. Mohamad Halim bin Ahmed, KPSB stakeholder was there as APSN Vice President I to grant the award to Kertih Port.Awarded by: Ara Limited

PETRONAS secured 3 prestigious awards at Asian Experience Awards 2023 for its dedication in showcasing the excellence in innovation.

PETRONAS was bestowed as the Malaysia Product, Customer, and Digital Experience of the Year award in the Oil & Gas category for its ProAssure™ innovation, an in-house composite overwrap repair system for onshore and offshore applications that restores the integrity of corroded and leaking pipelines, providing protection against further corrosion.

PETRONAS' innovative high-performance computing (HPC) cloud migration project also won the Malaysia Digital Experience of the Year, showing the Group’s dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction, and industry leadership. 

In addition, PETRONAS' innovative visitor management solution, Meeting Experience System (MEET), won the Malaysia Customer Experience of the Year - Oil & Gas category.

This achievement is a resounding testament to the positive impact PETRONAS has made on university students nationwide across various categories, including Chemical, Engineering, Oil & Gas, and Convenience Store. PETRONAS’ Group of Companies, such as BASF PETRONAS Chemical Sdn Bhd, Setel, and KL Convention Centre were also named in the top 5 of their respective categories, namely Chemical and Convention Centre.

PETRONAS secured the top position in Chemical, Engineering, and Oil & Gas categories, as well as maintaining a consistent champion status in the Oil & Gas category for five consecutive years, displaying the general sentiment among students from both private and public universities that regard us as their employer of choice upon graduation.
