PETRONAS through its subsidiary, PETRONAS Petróleo Brasil Ltda. (PPBL), established in 2019, currently holds participating interest in the Tartaruga Verde (BM-C-36 Concession) and Module III of the Espadarte (Espadarte Concession) fields located in the deepwaters of the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil. PPBL also has participating interest in three exploration blocks, CM-661 (100%), CM-715 (100%) and CM-541 (20%), which were won during Brazil’s exploration bid round, all of which are located in the Campos Basin. Downstream business is represented by PETRONAS Lubricants International, under its subsidiary called PETRONAS LUBRIFICANTES BRASIL S.A. actively marketing its various range of lubricants products in Brazil.

PETRONAS Carigali Brunei Ltd
PETRONAS Carigali Brunei Ltd (PCBL) established its presence in Brunei in 2010 to carry out exploration-related activities in the country’s deepwater blocks through its Production Sharing Agreements with the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam. PCBL holds interest in two areas in the South China Sea, Block CA1 (5%) and Block CA2 (45%) of which PCBL is the operator.

Since 2011, PETRONAS has been operating in South Sudan through PETRONAS Carigali Nile Ltd (PCNL). PCNL’s presence in South Sudan oil and gas industry is based on a Joint Operating Company (JOC) model with interest in three (3) JOCs namely: Dar Petroleum Operating Co. Ltd. (DPOC), Greater Pioneer Operating Co. Ltd. (GPOC) and Sudd Petroleum Operating Co. Ltd. (SPOC), established by PCNL together with other Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement contractors.

PETRONAS in Indonesia
PETRONAS has been operating in Indonesia for two decades, starting with its venture into non-operator equity for the Ketapang Working Area in 2000. PETRONAS currently holds interest in eight (8) upstream ventures in Indonesia, namely North Madura II (100%), Ketapang (80%), Natuna SEA A (15%), Jabung (36.85%), Madura Offshore (22.5%) , Sakakemang (45%), Aru (40%) and Andaman III (49%) of which PETRONAS is the operator in two (2) of the ventures. To further grow and play an active role in the long-term development of Indonesia’s energy needs, PETRONAS also has its downstream businesses represented by PT PETRONAS Lubricants International Indonesia and PT PETRONAS Chemicals Marketing Kimia Indonesia.

PETRONAS through its subsidiary, PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding B.V. (PCIHBV) has been operating in the Republic of Iraq since 2010 and currently holds interest in Garraf Oilfield (45%), Halfaya Oilfield (22.5%) and Badra Oilfield (15%), of which PETRONAS is the Operator in Garraf.

PC Carigali Mexico Operations S.A DE C.V.
PETRONAS’ subsidiary, PC Carigali Mexico Operations S.A. de C.V. (PCCMO), established in 2015 currently holds interest in 10 exploration blocks across Mexico’s three main basins, with a total area of approximately 22,000 square kilometres, of which PCCMO is the operator in five (5) of the blocks. The Company Operated Blocks are Block 12 Ridges (60%), Block 6 Salina (50%), Block 25 Salina (100%), Block 26 Salina (100%) and Block 4 Salina (50%). The remaining blocks are operated by others: Block 4 Perdido (30%), Block 10 Ridges (40%), Block 14 Ridges (50%), Block 5 Salina (30%) and Block 29 Salina (28.33%). Meanwhile, downstream business is represented by PETRONAS Lubricant International, the global lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of PETRONAS.

PSEPBV’s portfolio currently holds interest in three (3) oil and gas blocks offshore Suriname, Block 48 (100%), Block 52 (50%) and Block 53 (30%), whereby PSEPBV is the operator for Block 48 and Block 52.
