PEGT Will Make Available Additional 24MMscfd of Gas to Puchong City Gate

2025 Media Release - 25 Apr

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2025 – PETRONAS Energy & Gas Trading Sdn. Bhd. (PEGT), a licensed gas shipper in Peninsular Malaysia, has taken further measures to restore gas supply at the respective affected areas following the Putra Heights pipeline incident.

To support the affected areas, PEGT will make available an additional 24 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) of gas to the isolated zone at Puchong City Gate. This effort is part of ongoing coordination with Gas Malaysia Berhad (GMB) towards increasing GMB’s gas distribution network supply volume.

The additional allocation is expected to further support gas supply stability in the isolated zone and improve the overall gas supply conditions.

PEGT remains committed to supporting recovery efforts and will continue engaging with the relevant authorities and stakeholders in ensuring stability of gas supply to the affected areas.
