- Work Flexibility
- We introduced flexible work arrangements as part our of efforts to promote work-life balance throughout the organisation. We believe that it nurtures engaged employees that is crucial to deliver valuable contributions to our business strategy and growth.
- This includes Flexible Working Hors (FWH), Compressed Work Week (CWW), Flexible Work Arrangement for Pregnant Employees – Leaving Earlier from Work (LEFW), FlexyWork Arrangement.
- Benefit for Special Needs Children
- We provide financial assistance for employees with special needs children to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- For our employees who have children with special needs, we offer financial assistance to help cover costs related to their child’s treatments.
- Employee Facilities
- We provide amenities such as PETRONITA Crèche (a childcare centre), nursing rooms and other recreational facilities to help create a more conducive working environment.
- Special Leaves
- Allocated special leaves to support employees’ needs, including maternity and paternity leave, Leave Without Pay (LWP) and compassionate leave.
- Transition Assistance Programmes
- Supported affected employees through the Career Transition Option (CTO), a compensation package aimed at assisting with re-employment, early retirement or entrepreneurship.
- Employees Involvement
- We actively encourage employees to pursue common interests and foster a sense of community through various clubs and associations, including PETRONAS Sports and Recreation Club (KSRP), and Association for Wives and Women Staff of PETRONAS (PETRONITA).
- Our subsidiary, Perstorp Group, has established Perstorp AB Idrottsförening (Perstorp AN IF), an officially registered sports club that provides employees with structured avenues for sports and recreation.

- We established a 5-year employee wellness roadmap, focusing on social, physical and mental health to protect the overall health and well-being of our employees
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- Through the EAP, we support our employees in dealing with issues that may adversely impact their health, work performance and well-being, by providing personal consultations and digital coaching through the myFriend platform.
