Bakau NAG Project has been chosen as one of the winners for IET Malaysia Industry Excellence Platinum Award 2022. The award was presented by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) during IET Malaysia Network Prestige Lecture & Award Dinner 2022 (PLAD 2022). The award is intended to recognize companies in Malaysia whose activities or contributions have made significant contribution to development, innovation, engineering services and training, renewable energy, public health, safety and/or welfare, that have broad and lasting effects on science, engineering & technology.

PETRONAS China was honored with 3 awards in CSR China Education Award; for a series of activities that was done in 2022 targeting the youth including a speech competition, educational workshop and social practices as CSR China Education Award focuses on policy issues such as rural education revitalization, youth growth and development, ecological civilization and environmental education, carbon emission reduction and carbon neutrality. This is a strong recognition for PETRONAS CSR efforts in China as well as spreading PETRONAS sustainability agenda and NZCE 2050 aspirations and stimulate these young minds towards a net zero carbon future through creative thinking and self-expression capabilities.
