PETRONAS wishes to inform that it has implemented the new retirement age of 60 years for its permanent employees effective on 1 July 2013 in line with the Minimum Retirement Age Act 2012.
The application of the Act has however been exempted for a group of male employees who had previously accepted PETRONAS’ offer for variation of their retirement age from 60 years to 55 years and who had received compensation for the variation.
