Extension of Time (EOT) on Submission of Annual Audited Report (AAR) dated 1 November 2020 until 31 January 2021

Dear Vendor,
Following the announcement by the Government of Malaysia on 28 May 2021 on the imposition of total lockdown nationwide effective 1st - 14th June 2021 (“Lockdown”), one of the initiative to ease burden of companies which involved Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) was also announced.
Under the initiative, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) is granting Extension of Time (EOT) for deferment of Annual Audited Report (AAR) submission for AAR dated 1 November 2020 until 31 January 2021.
Per PETRONAS requirement, vendor must submit the latest AAR to enable Licensing & Registration Section (LRS) to process license & registration applications. Without the latest AAR, vendor will not be able to submit license/registration application in PETRONAS License Management System (PLMS).
However, following the announcement made by SSM, vendor with financial year end between 1 November 2020 until 31 January 2021 (where AAR is not yet available or not reflected in SSM profile) may submit license/registration applications in PLMS, following the process stipulated below.
Please be informed that in addition to the EOT granted by SSM and in consideration of longer time taken by SSM to process and upload AAR into their system, PETRONAS will allow additional 2 months (from expiry date of EOT by SSM) for vendors to update their SSM profile with the latest AAR to PETRONAS.
For vendor with AAR which has yet to be reflected in SSM profile, please provide the latest AAR which is endorsed by Commissioner of Oath.For vendor where AAR is not yet available, please provide the latest Management Account signed by Company Director(s). *Vendor to ensure that all scanned documents are legible for our validation.
Special Conditions
Issuance of interim license & registration is only for the specified duration.
Vendor is required to update the latest AAR as soon as it is available.
Failure to update the latest AAR by the deadline will result in license & registration be automatically converted to Non-Compliance.
Vendor status will turn Active only after vendor has submitted the latest AAR and pass our evaluation/validation.
Following temporary closure of SSM operations nationwide during Lockdown period, vendor is highly encouraged to utilize the online services offered by SSM e.g. to lodge the latest AAR to SSM. Refer here for the list of online services offered by SSM.
