PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding B.V. (PCIHBV), one of the Upstream exploration arms of PETRONAS, has been operating in Iraq since 2010 with ventures in three (3) oilfields. PETRONAS is a partner and also holds equity in two (2) oilfields namely Halfaya and Badra, with the joined effort from other International or National Oil Companies (I/NOC).

As the operator of Garraf oil field, PETRONAS has successfully delivered its First Oil on 31 August 2013, produces an average production of 130,000 barrels per day (bpd) currently and to date (as of 20 April 2022), contributed 268 million barrels of cumulative export to Iraq.
