Dear Valued Partners,
With reference to our pre-Go-Live announcement on 28 August 2020, kindly be informed that the SMART by GEP® Source-to-Pay (S2P) Go-Live for Malaysian Refining Company Sdn Bhd (MRCSB) & PETRONAS Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd (PPMSB) will be deferred to November 2020. This means that for the abovementioned OPUs, the SMART by GEP® S2P modules WILL NOT Go-Live on 7 September 2020 (Release 1) as originally scheduled. Therefore, you are required to use SUS to perform transactions with these OPUs until further notice.
The SMART by GEP® Source-to-Pay (S2P) Go-Live for Holding Company Units (HCU) will proceed as per plan on 7 September 2020 and the scheduled freeze period in SUS from 2 September to 6 September will continue for the Holding Company Units (HCU) as previously communicated. Therefore, you will be required to use SMART by GEP® to transact business with HCU OPUs from 7 September 2020 onwards.

In the meantime, for suppliers who have yet to create their SMART by GEP® account, we strongly urge you to do so in order to avoid missing out on business opportunities with PETRONAS. You may also refer to our updated user guide available here on our Procurement Platform page to help you get started and familiarise yourself with the new S2P features in SMART by GEP®.
